Well HELLO there,

My name is CASSIDY EDISON, but I am also commonly known as the Artist "SOMETHIN' ELSE".

I am a Texas native born in Houston, raised in Sugar Land, & living in Austin. I have recently separated from the United States Navy after 7 years of service & now that I am no longer in the military, you will find me mothering my beautiful daughter or  PERFORMING, PAINTING, & POSING!

Performing spoken word poetry is 100% my passion, but sharing that gift openly to connect with others is my purpose. In addition, screen acting for commercials/film/tv allows me to use my gift of creative expression on a much larger platform & work with other Creatives who too are passionate about sharing the arts with the world. 

Painting is very much therapy for my soul, & the genuine smiles I see on people's face after receiving a piece of my artwork fills me with so much joy.

Posing (modeling) gives me the opportunity to bring many photographers' & content creators' visions to life, which is a unique experience I am always thankful to be a part of.

In short, I am simply a people-oriented/multi-faceted Artist who enjoys ALL innovations of ART + CREATIVITY to bring others together. I would love connect & add a splash of COLOR to your Life's canvas in some small, significant way!
